Washing detergents are with strong chemicals and good against coffee stains, but be careful in the usage of dishwashing detergent on fabrics. Have a cold water shower on the spot once again after using detergent immediately to remove the harsh effect of detergent.
Rinse the detergent with cold water and white vinegar. Vinegar is more effective than pure water in this reference. If you feel the difference in strength of stain with this treatment then repeat it for two or three times.
